Can I create a 3D view from a 2D floor plan using AI?

How do I convert a 2D floor plan to 3D?

What do I upload: an image or a PDF floor plan?

The floor plan as an image or a PDF, such as the HDB sales plan or a condo or landed plan, and a short brief. If you have already drawn a layout on the plan, IDstudio builds it as drawn.

Does the AI keep the real dimensions?

It reads the walls, doors, windows and printed dimensions before drawing anything, gives you a dimensioned technical plan, and lists the assumptions to confirm on site, such as ceiling height and wall thickness.

Can I get a 3D floor plan from a 2D plan, as well as room renders?

Yes. A 3D floor plan render shows every room at once from above, as in the Ling's Haus case study.

Do the renders match the layout?

Yes. Each render is made from its clay view of the 3D model, from the same camera, so the room, the joinery and the furniture match the plan.

Can I change the design after it renders?

Yes. Each room has its own chat: change it in plain words or mark up the view. It knows whether a change is styling or built, and answers each change as done, partly done or not possible.
