01 In short

How do I get fast renders for an interior design proposal?

Start from the floor plan instead of the model. IDstudio goes from a 2D floor plan to a furnished plan, a SketchUp model, 3D renders of every room and a client design book in five steps and less than an hour*, with you approving each stage. * When left to run through all five steps on its own, without stopping for your review.

02 A real project

A real project: Japandi 2-room Flexi by Eunice, Ling's Haus

Eunice drew her layout on the HDB floor plan. IDstudio built it as she drew it, made the 3D model and rendered every room, then rebuilt it with her corrections.

03 Where the time goes

Where does the time go in an interior design proposal?

In the drafting, not the design: tracing the plan, placing the furniture, building the model, setting up cameras and rendering each view. IDstudio does those steps for you, so your time goes on the brief, the review and the client.

  • Drafting the plan: the AI reads the walls, doors, windows and printed dimensions from the 2D floor plan.
  • Space planning: a furnished floor plan to local sizes, or your own layout built as drawn.
  • Modelling: the approved plan is built in 3D, with a SketchUp .skp file and a clay view per camera.
  • Rendering: every room is rendered from its clay view in the chosen theme.
  • Assembling the proposal: a client-ready design book PDF with the plans and renders, in one of seven photo styles.

04 How it works

Five steps, five approvals

  1. 01

Upload the floor plan and brief

An image or PDF of the 2D floor plan is enough: the HDB sales plan, a condo or landed plan, or your own drawn layout.

The floor plan of a 2-room Flexi HDB flat as the designer uploaded it, with her carpentry and furniture drawn on
  2. 02

    Approve the furnished plan

Check the dimensioned furnished plan and ask for changes in plain words, a sketch or a mark-up.

  3. 03

    Approve the 3D model

Clay views show each room without materials, so the layout and cameras are right before rendering. The SketchUp file comes with it.

  4. 04

Approve the renders, then send the book

Review each room, change it in its own chat, pick a photo style and generate the design book.

05 Quick and consistent

Quick renders that stay consistent

Fast is only useful if the renders match the plan. Each render is made from the clay view of the same 3D model, in one theme kit, so every room matches the plan and the other rooms.

07 Questions

Fast renders for proposals: questions

How fast can I get 3D renders for a client presentation?

In five steps and less than an hour. When left to run through all five steps on its own, without stopping for your review. You approve the furnished plan, the 3D model, the renders, the photo style and the design book, and each stage waits for you.

Can I show the client renders at the first meeting?

Yes, that is what IDstudio is for: it goes from the client's floor plan to renders of every room and a design book in five steps and less than an hour (when left to run through all five steps on its own, without stopping for your review).

How do I speed up my interior design workflow?

Let the AI do the drafting, space planning, modelling and rendering, and keep the brief, the checks and the client for yourself. Each stage waits for your approval, and changes go in plain words or as a mark-up on the view.

Does faster mean lower quality?

Not here. Every render comes from the clay view of the same 3D model, you review each room before the client sees it, and the open Ang Mo Kio sample project shows real output, including what is off.

How much does it cost?

US$99 (S$129) a month at the launch price, down from US$149, for 6 projects and an estimated 100 renders, cancel anytime. The 7-day free trial is one full project with no card: floor plan to furnished layout, 3D model and SketchUp file, and up to 4 renders (trial credits worth US$50). Start the free trial.
