01 In short

Can AI replace outsourced renders for interior designers?

For the first client proposal, yes. IDstudio renders every room of a home from the floor plan, each render matched to a clay view of a SketchUp model, so what the client sees is what the plan says. You don't model first and you don't send views out to a render artist.

02 A real project

A real project: Japandi 2-room Flexi by Eunice, Ling's Haus

Eunice drew her layout on the HDB floor plan. IDstudio built it as she drew it, made the 3D model and rendered every room, then rebuilt it with her corrections.

05 No model needed

Renders without building the model first

Most AI render tools start from a model you have already built, or a screenshot of it. IDstudio starts from the floor plan: it drafts the layout, builds the model and gives you the SketchUp .skp as an output, alongside the renders.

07 Questions

AI rendering for interior designers: questions

What is AI interior rendering?

Photorealistic interior renders made by AI instead of a 3D artist. In IDstudio each render is made from a clay view of a real 3D model built from your floor plan, so the interior visualisation matches the plan and every view of a room stays consistent.

Are AI renders good enough to show clients?

For a first proposal, yes. Each IDstudio render is made from its clay view, so it matches the plan and the model, and you review every room before the client sees it. The open Ang Mo Kio sample project shows real output, including what is off.

Do I need to model in SketchUp first?

No. IDstudio drafts the furnished layout from the floor plan and builds the 3D model itself. You get the SketchUp .skp as an output, so you can keep working in SketchUp later.

Which AI models does IDstudio use?

Powered by the latest-generation AI models and continuously updated: you never work on an old model, and there is no separate rendering or SketchUp subscription to manage.

Do all the rooms look consistent?

Every room is rendered in the same theme and palette from its own clay view of one model, so the joinery, materials and furniture carry through the home.

Can clients ask for changes to a render?

Yes. Each room has its own chat: change it in plain words or mark up the view. It knows whether a change is styling or built, and answers each change as done, partly done or not possible.

Which photo styles can the final renders use?

Seven: Magazine white (the default), Catalogue, Evening lifestyle, Luxury, Sunlit, Architectural and Soft Scandi. The room stays exactly as approved; only the light, time of day, colour grade and loose styling props change.

How much does AI rendering with IDstudio cost?

US$99 (S$129) a month at the launch price, down from US$149, for 6 projects and an estimated 100 renders, cancel anytime. The 7-day free trial is one full project with no card: floor plan to furnished layout, 3D model and SketchUp file, and up to 4 renders (trial credits worth US$50). Start the free trial.
